Built by Alexander and Matilda Rose in 1886, the B&H Ranch was one of the larger hay and grain operations in the latter half of the 19th century, providing feed to the local dairy herds. It changed hands and hats several times in the more than hundred years that has passed since it was established, but today it keeps dozens of horses and their owners happy as Whispering Hills Ranch.
Owned and operated by Manuel and Loretta Franco since 2000, Whispering Hills Ranch still has the original late 19th century barn as the cornerstone of the property, but now features two new spacious custom barns, a pipe-corral mare motel, and well-kept pastures, round pens, and arena.
Whispering Hills Ranch is a laid-back, down-to-earth horse boarding facility. The main goal at the ranch is for folks to have a relaxed, clean environment where they can enjoy whatever activities they like with their horses without feeling pressured, judged, or self conscious. No pretentiousness, no whining, no worries.
